About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Back End Engineer with expertise in Golang to join their backend engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain Golang-based microservices that power critical retail banking channels, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Golang-based microservices and batch programs using gRPC, REST, and GoRoutines.
- Ensure that all services meet agreed availability, performance, and scalability targets.
- Contribute to solution design by translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high service reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend development with Golang.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with gRPC, REST APIs, and GoRoutines.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend engineering, specifically with Golang.
