About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Azure Platform Support Engineer to join their team in Mumbai or Bengaluru. This role is crucial for supporting, deploying, administering, automating, and optimizing business-critical applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure services and a strong understanding of commercial applications, ETRM, market data, and business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for Azure-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Deploy and administer cloud resources and services in Microsoft Azure.
- Automate processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture and security.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of cloud applications.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems and market data applications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Azure platform support and administration.
