The team is seeking a Senior Azure Databricks Platform Security Engineer to join their team in Navi Mumbai. This individual contributor role is critical for ensuring the end-to-end security of the Azure Databricks platform and the Lakehouse data estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Harden Azure Databricks workspaces to enhance security measures.
- Govern Unity Catalog to manage data access and permissions effectively.
- Seamlessly integrate Databricks with other security tools and frameworks.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management for the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and cloud security principles.
- Strong knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and risk management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud security, specifically with Azure Databricks.
