The team is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing robust data solutions on AWS, ensuring data integrity and security while leveraging cloud technologies to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with a focus on AWS technologies.
