The team is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to support their application security strategy. This role is essential in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities across applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and implement secure coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess security vulnerabilities in applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments and code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in application security, with a focus on secure coding practices.
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API security and cloud security practices.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001).
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in application security or a related field.
