About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on expertise in Managed Security Services (MSS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications and systems through proactive measures and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys (VMDR) and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDLP).
- Implement and manage security solutions, including CyberArk (PAM), to protect sensitive data and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, providing recommendations for improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with application security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using security tools like Qualys, Zscaler, and CyberArk.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience Level:
