The team is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to enhance the security posture of their innovative, cloud-based platform. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security best practices, and ensuring the integrity of applications used in parking business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on applications and systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on secure coding practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in application security, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and frameworks (e.g., OWASP).
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices, especially in AWS or Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in application security or a related field.
