About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join their Professional Services AI Engineering team in Bangalore. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you will work on the development side of their Strike Teams, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will collaborate closely with a Senior AI Engineer to deliver production-grade, customer-facing AI features end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the development work for your features from conception to deployment.
- Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude to enhance the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and experience with large language models (LLMs).
- Experience in building and deploying scalable applications.
- Familiarity with software development best practices and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in application development and engineering.
