The team is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their innovative team focused on developing artificial intelligence solutions for aquaculture. This role is crucial in leveraging advanced AI techniques to enhance the understanding and management of aquatic species through specialized imaging technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI algorithms and models to analyze complex biological data.
- Collaborate with biologists and data scientists to identify and predict traits of aquatic species.
- Develop and optimize machine learning pipelines for image processing and analysis.
- Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and biology, applying findings to real-world problems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the AI team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision techniques.
- Experience with data processing and analysis tools, such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with biological data and imaging technology is a plus.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in AI engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
