The team is seeking a skilled Security Engineer specializing in Vulnerability Management to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in helping developers and AppSec teams focus on accelerating development while effectively managing security concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to evaluate system security.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite).
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus.
