The team is seeking a skilled Security Engineer (Support) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our software products while providing exceptional support to clients. You will work closely with development teams to implement security best practices and respond to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding security-related inquiries.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance security measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a security engineering or related role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS or similar environments.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience: 5-8 years in a security-focused role with a strong emphasis on client support.
