The team is seeking a Security Engineer to support and enhance their Cybersecurity Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures that protect information systems and networks. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security measures for information systems and networks.
- Monitor security systems for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide training and awareness programs for staff on security protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
