The team is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the team’s cloud infrastructure and ensuring the security of their systems and data. You will work closely with various teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architectures for cloud-based systems.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively enhance security measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud security principles and practices.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in information security or a related field, with a focus on cloud security.
