Security Architect

The team is seeking a skilled Security Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the enterprise architect and the systems security engineer, ensuring effective communication and coordination regarding security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with system owners, common control providers, and system security officers to allocate security controls as system-specific, hybrid, or common controls.
• Design and implement security measures that protect sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of application firewall concepts and functions, including single point of authentication, audit, policy enforcement, and message scanning for malicious content.
• Ensure data anonymization practices are in place for PCI and PII compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in security architecture and design, with a strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of application firewalls, security controls, and data protection regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity management solutions.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in security architecture or a related field.
