The team is seeking a Security and Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the security posture of the team systems while automating processes to improve efficiency and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and automation solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Automate security monitoring and incident response processes.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Manage security tools and technologies, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in security engineering and automation.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
- Familiarity with cloud security practices, especially in AWS or Azure environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
