About this role

The team is seeking an experienced Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive quality engineering, test automation, and software development initiatives across both front-end and back-end applications. This role is perfect for a strong software engineer who possesses hands-on programming expertise along with a deep understanding of automation, quality engineering, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and tools for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is built into the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead quality initiatives within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience: 5-8 years in software development and testing roles, with a focus on automation.
