About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SDET 3 - Performance Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of performance test plans for complex systems and applications, ensuring high reliability and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of performance test plans for complex systems and applications.
- Develop advanced performance scripts and mock services using Python and Go for service/infrastructure testing.
- Analyze system resource usage under test conditions, document findings, and report to stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues such as memory leaks and bottlenecks, ensuring system reliability.
- Establish and maintain reliability metrics, alerting, and monitoring systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in performance engineering, with a strong background in software development.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Go.
- Solid understanding of performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with system resource analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development and performance engineering.
