About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SDET 2 - Performance Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of complex systems through meticulous testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance test plans for complex systems.
- Develop scripts and mock services in Python or Go for service-level testing.
- Set up alerting, monitoring, and reliability matrices across services.
- Provide actionable insights through detailed performance reports and system analysis.
- Lead debugging and resolution of memory leaks, bottlenecks, and connection issues.
- Conduct system resource analysis under various test loads.
- Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to their professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance analysis methodologies.
- Experience in debugging complex systems and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in software development or testing, with a focus on performance engineering.
