About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps using Appium.
- Implement API testing frameworks such as Karate or Rest Assured.
- Debug and update automated tests for new product features and existing scripts.
- Track automation coverage and present weekly status reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with manual testing teams to review and automate test cases.
- Write efficient automation scripts following the Page Object Model and Agile methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Appium and API testing frameworks like Karate or Rest Assured.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing and automation.
