About this role
The team is a Series B funded startup that is re-imagining payments in Korea and other international markets. They are seeking a Software Development Engineer II/III with a strong background in backend and full-stack development to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable payment solutions that enhance user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of over 2 million users utilizing the CHAI eWallet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust backend services and APIs.
- Develop full-stack applications that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define and refine product features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant software development experience, with a focus on backend and full-stack technologies.
