About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled SDE 3 - Backend to take end-to-end ownership of their software systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying distributed microservices that serve millions of customers with low latency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design, architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring of software systems.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in a typed language, preferably Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Implement best practices for software development and ensure compliance with standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java or similar typed languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in database management and API design.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
