About this role
The team is a Series C funded startup in the fintech domain, seeking an SDE 2 – Backend Developer to join their dynamic team. In this permanent role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.
- Optimize existing backend systems for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development.
