About this role
The team is seeking a skilled SAP Variant Configuration (VC) Specialist to lead requirement gathering and solution design workshops for SAP Variant Configuration processes. This role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining configurable materials (KMAT), configuration profiles, characteristics, and classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops to gather requirements and design solutions for SAP VC.
- Design and configure configurable materials, including KMAT and configuration profiles.
- Develop and maintain object dependencies such as Preconditions, Selection Conditions, Procedures, and Constraints.
- Configure and maintain Variant Tables and dependency networks.
- Design and maintain Super BOMs and Super Routings for configurable products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VC processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with SAP Variant Configuration and related processes.
- Strong knowledge of configurable materials, characteristics, and classes.
- Proficiency in developing object dependencies and managing Variant Tables.
- Experience in designing Super BOMs and Super Routings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP Variant Configuration.
