About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SAP GTS Functional Lead to oversee the functional design, configuration, and support of SAP GTS solutions. This role requires a strong background in compliance requirements and processes, as well as expertise in country-of-origin, product classification, trade compliance, and preference determination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP GTS solutions.
- Partner with business, legal/compliance, procurement, and IT teams to translate regulatory requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Conduct requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ensure integration of SAP GTS with other systems and processes.
- Provide ongoing support and training to users on SAP GTS functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with SAP GTS, including configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to trade and customs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP GTS and related compliance processes.
