About this role
The team is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Vertex Integration to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of global tax and financial systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between financial accounting and automated tax compliance, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP (S/4HANA/ECC) and Vertex O Series.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions integrated with Vertex.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for US corporate tax automation and cross-border transactional tax (VAT/GST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Analyze and optimize existing financial processes and systems for efficiency.
- Provide training and support to users on SAP FICO and Vertex functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting with a focus on Vertex integration.
- Strong understanding of US corporate tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
