About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SAP Database Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design, implementation, and management, with a focus on backup design and disaster recovery procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures.
- Configure, generate, and review database audits for HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Automate SQL Server patching using WSUS.
- Review and remediate database-related CVEs for HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Manage SQL Server AlwaysOn Clusters.
- Maintain JDA (BY) Supply Chain application infrastructure.
- Oversee SQL Server media access and repository maintenance.
- Perform Azure Portal DBA tasks, including access management and monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge of database backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with SQL Server patching and automation tools.
- Experience in managing SQL Server AlwaysOn Clusters.
- Understanding of Azure Portal and related DBA tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in database architecture and management.
