About this role
The team is seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Basis and SAP HANA, providing critical support and expertise in various SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SAP Basis Administration Support for SAP upgrades and migrations.
- Assist in new system builds and database activities including copy/cloning, partitioning, and space utilization.
- Monitor and optimize system performance for SAP environments.
- Perform backup and recovery operations, utilizing advanced knowledge of SAP database platforms.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SAP Basis.
- Serve as the SAP Basis Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and support to team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP Basis and SAP HANA.
- Proficient in scripting for automation and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP database utilities and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis support and administration.
