About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a strong ABAP administration background to manage and support enterprise SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in administering traditional SAP ABAP systems, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. This role is focused on system administration, transport management, performance optimization, and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support SAP landscapes, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Administer SAP ABAP systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Handle transport management and system refreshes to maintain system integrity.
- Optimize system performance through monitoring and tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Document processes and maintain system documentation for compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SAP Basis administration and ABAP development.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Knowledge of transport management and system performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database management and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience: 8-10 years in SAP Basis administration with a focus on ABAP.
