About this role
The team is seeking an experienced and proactive SAP Basis Consultant to manage and maintain their SAP environments, ensuring system availability, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system installations, upgrades, migrations, and daily operations of SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
- Manage database administration tasks and ensure optimal database performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Implement system upgrades and patches in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SAP Basis administration and operations.
- Proficiency in SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Familiarity with database management systems, particularly HANA and Oracle.
- Knowledge of SAP security and user administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis consulting.
