About this role
The team is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Professional to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performing system administration tasks on SAP ABAP and Java systems. Your focus will be on maintaining the stability and performance of key SAP applications such as BOBJ, ECC, and Solution Manager, while working within a UNIX or Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and upgrade SAP systems as required.
- Troubleshoot and monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform system administration tasks for SAP ABAP and Java environments.
- Maintain stability and performance of key SAP applications.
- Manage SAP transport management processes.
- Execute system copies and ensure proper configuration.
- Provide 24x7 support and be on-call as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP and Java systems.
- Experience with UNIX or Linux environments.
- Familiarity with SAP transport management and system copies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining system performance and stability.
Experience: 4-6 years.
