Our client is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer for a remote contract position based in Canada. This role is essential for developing and implementing SMS and email automation solutions that drive customer engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SMS and email automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Design and execute complex marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and data privacy regulations such as CASL and CANSPAM.
- Act as a key stakeholder in cross-department collaboration to deliver marketing requirements.
- Implement best practices and identify new strategies to enhance marketing programs.
- Track and analyze program performance against business goals, leading improvements as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
- Proficient in configuring data models, automation processes, and journey building.
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex join statements.
- Experience in creating dynamic, personalized marketing assets using scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud web experience, subscription management, and API resolutions.
- Strong understanding of Email/ISP Domain Health Management.
- Excellent communication skills and extensive technical experience with SFMC.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS; WXProxy experience is a plus.
- SFMC Developer Certification is required; SFMC Consultant certification is a plus.
- Understanding of MC Connect and data exchange between SFMC and Salesforce is essential.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and Customer Data Platforms (CDP) is desirable.
