About this role
The team is seeking a SaaS Security Engineer to help design, build, and mature security programs across cloud, application, product, and SaaS environments. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong foundational experience in modern cloud and application security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security measures for SaaS applications and cloud environments.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to teams on security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in security engineering or a related field.
