The team is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead the Market Risk Analytics & Reporting (MRA&R) team in Bengaluru. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions that provide insights into market risk profiles, enabling senior leadership, investors, and regulators to make informed risk management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the design and development of software solutions for market risk analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet regulatory standards and business needs.
- Drive innovation in risk analytics by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical skills and career development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in risk analytics or financial services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and frameworks, including SQL, R, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of market risk concepts and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in software engineering, with a focus on risk management or analytics.
