About this role

The team is seeking a Research Engineer - Blockchain to conduct advanced research and develop innovative solutions in the field of blockchain technology. This role involves working on distributed ledger technologies, Web3 security, interoperability, scalability, privacy-preserving technologies, decentralized identity, and smart contract security. The candidate will manage the complete research lifecycle, from literature review to prototype development and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews to identify current trends and gaps in blockchain research.
  • Formulate research problems and design protocols and algorithms to address them.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct experiments to validate research findings.
  • Evaluate the security of blockchain systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance research outcomes.
  • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in blockchain technology and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with smart contract development and security analysis.
  • Familiarity with Web3 technologies and decentralized applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in blockchain research or development.
