About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Consultant Data OPS (Data Engineer) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of data pipelines. This role requires a proactive individual who can provide on-call support and adhere to operational delivery center (ODC) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all data systems.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Document processes and maintain data architecture standards.
- Work from the Bangalore/Chennai office and be available for on-call support after shift hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in data engineering and data operations.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or data operations.
