The team is seeking a Quality Automation Engineer specializing in API Testing to join their team. In this key role, you will undertake and enable automated testing activities across various delivery models. You will support teams in developing quality solutions and ensure continuous integration, aiming for defect-free deployments that deliver customer value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test cases for API services.
- Collaborate with feature teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and results, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and testing practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to API performance and functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in API testing and automation tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a focus on API testing.
