The team is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of quality across their entire production process, ensuring excellence from incoming raw materials to finished goods dispatch. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of their home care product range and specialty chemicals for the textile and ready-to-wear apparel sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes throughout the production cycle.
- Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of raw materials and in-process batches.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and methodologies.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
- Experience in the home care or specialty chemicals industry is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
