The team is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance bearings, glands, and seals for various industrial applications. They are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance the quality control processes within the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and collaborate with other departments to implement effective quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Train and mentor quality assurance staff on best practices and compliance standards.
- Liaise with external regulatory bodies and customers regarding quality concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Experience with statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
