The team is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist to join their dynamic team within the Consulting Services division. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for solutions related to power generation, delivery, and utilization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and verify the performance of systems and applications, ensuring they meet both internal and external client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify quality standards and performance metrics.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of power systems engineering solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide feedback on product usability and functionality to enhance user experience.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably in the energy or power sector.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with power generation and delivery systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
