About this role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Developer Experience (DevX) team, focusing on manual and automated testing for ARCore and XR projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing AR/VR applications and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Conduct manual and automated testing of features across AR/VR applications and hardware.
- Find, isolate, and document bugs effectively.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on quality aspects.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in AR/VR applications.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
