About this role
The team is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Core Java.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and functionality.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects.
- Utilize Playwright for testing, with a preference for Java or TypeScript.
- Implement and manage testing frameworks using TestNG or JUnit.
- Use Maven or Gradle as build tools for project management.
- Apply the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for test automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with Playwright and its capabilities.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of automation design patterns, particularly Page Object Model.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in automation testing and quality assurance.
