About this role
The team is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to enhance their testing processes and ensure the quality of their software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the current automation framework and contribute to automating regression and new development test cases/scenarios.
- Maintain the automation framework and automated test cases for any changes or failures.
- Analyze functional requirements and design documents, and review bug descriptions to incorporate this information into test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases and test scripts for both manual and automation testing.
- Add new tests and enhance existing tests written in Java and other relevant technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java or similar languages.
- Experience with test case design and execution.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
