The team is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and automating comprehensive API tests that cover various aspects of functionality. This role requires a strong focus on data validation and ensuring the integrity of data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and automate comprehensive API tests covering functional behavior, data contracts, negative scenarios, error handling, authentication, integrations, and performance.
- Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation across source, intermediate, and target systems.
- Validate end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, integrity, and functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong experience with API testing and validation.
- Solid understanding of SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with data pipeline validation and data quality concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
