About this role
The team is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead for Functional and Automation Testing with a strong foundation in Agile processes and proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in functional testing and automation, along with the capability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in functional and automation testing.
- Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Java, C#, or JavaScript with Selenium.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in testing and automation.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive learning within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
- Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools, particularly Selenium.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership experience in managing QA teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in quality engineering and automation.
