About this role
The team is seeking a skilled QA Test Engineer with strong experience in Java and Selenium to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud-based environments and a thorough understanding of software quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development and product teams.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional tests using Selenium.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, Spring Boot, JUnit, and JSON in testing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium.
- Expert knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, Spring Boot, JUnit, and JSON.
- Familiarity with REST/JSON web services.
- Understanding of Java Design Patterns is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and testing.
