About this role
The team is seeking an experienced QA Manual & Automation Lead to drive quality engineering for mobile applications across Android and iOS. This role combines hands-on automation development with QA leadership, focusing on owning test strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring high-quality, reliable releases within a CI/CD-driven Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor QA engineers in both manual and automated testing practices.
- Develop and implement test strategies for mobile applications.
- Design, write, and execute automated test scripts using Appium and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in QA leadership roles, specifically in mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, particularly Appium.
- Proficiency in Java and experience with API testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
