About this role
The team is seeking a QA Lead with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a team of 3-5 QA engineers and drive testing initiatives for web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Own end-to-end manual testing processes, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and UAT support.
- Build and maintain a robust automation framework using Java, Selenium, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Conduct REST/SOAP testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
- Perform code reviews for test scripts and provide guidance to team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with API testing using Postman and RestAssured.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
