About this role
The team is seeking a QA Engineer with a focus on the telecommunications sector to join their team in Pune, India. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and performance of their global cellular connectivity platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for telecom applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on various telecom products.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Maintain and improve automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Document and track defects using issue tracking systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of telecom protocols and standards (e.g., GSM, LTE, 5G).
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
