About this role
The team is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team in Pune or work remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing web and mobile applications, as well as large-scale enterprise products. This role requires a solid understanding of software testing best practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for various applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development process.
- Participate in test automation efforts and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Provide feedback on software usability and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of industry experience in testing web applications, mobile applications, and/or enterprise products.
- Strong understanding of software testing best practices, test planning, and defect reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Hands-on experience with OOP languages such as C#, Java, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
