About this role
The team is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. This role focuses on test planning, automation, API testing, regression testing, database validation, and defect management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to support high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for various applications.
- Conduct automated testing and maintain automation frameworks.
- Perform API testing to validate functionality and performance.
- Execute regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected.
- Validate database integrity and data accuracy.
- Manage defect tracking and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Familiarity with database testing and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
